LIMITING BELIEFS ⚡️⚡️⚡️ SquatHistory 💥
Person: I can’t do squats. 😅😅
Me Thinking: Then how do you get off the sofa? 😆
How do you take a shit?
…
EVERYONE CAN SQUAT 😋😘
The squat is one of the most functional bodyweight movements you will ever do and it has the greatest carryover to your everyday life. ➡️➡️
Don’t believe me? 👍
Think of all the movements you do from day to day.
👉 Picking the kids toys off the floor, loading the washing machine, climbing into the bath (when you get a min)
👉 The squat was the first thing you did before you learned to stand on your own two feet or even knew what the word meant.
☄️ Myth ☄️
💨 Squats ruined my knees.
No!
Squats can be used to strengthen your knees and keep you safe from injuries.
👉 POOR MOBILITY, POOR FORM, TECHNIQUE AND POSTURE is what ruined your knees. How much time do you spend stretching and working on your mobility before you go into squats?
From my personal experience of being able to Squat Heavy every single day for 90 days and even now I continue to squat frequently 4-5x a week I have picked up some little knowledge bombs along the way to
✅ Keep me safe
✅ To help me continue to grow in strength
✅ To practice my form over and over again
✅ To know the difference between a squat and a half-ass that’s gonna ruin your knees kinda squat.
✅ Be able to eat a proper nutritious diet that is going to help me max out on my recovery.
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER IS WE ARE ALL AT DIFFERENT STAGES IN OUR JOURNEY ⚠️
👉 You might not be able to squat heavy right now
👉 You might not be able to squat to full depth.
But, that doesn’t mean you are doomed. ☄️
Far from it. 🔥
